ISTRC – ISERD: Pilot for Horizon 2024 Calls in Smart Transportation – Roundtable Event

GOAL
With the goal to increase the number of submissions to the Horizon 2024 Program in the area of Smart Mobility, ISTRC, together with ISERD, joined effort, and tailor a pilot towards Horizon Calls with deadline on September 5, 2024.

In this pilot we are aiming to provide a holistic support; maximizing ISERD tools & services as well as the ISTRC network and connections, to unite teams of researchers and to submit winning proposals.

As part of this effort, we hosted a roundtable event, with discussion groups led by scientific managers, each focusing on one specific "Horizon 2024 Call".

HORIZON CALLS THAT WERE DISCUSSED

  1. HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01-04: AI for advanced and collective perception and decision making for CCAM applications (CCAM Partnership)
    Scientific Manager: Dr. Igal Bilik, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev

  2. HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01-12: A new framework to improve traffic safety culture in the EU
    Scientific Manager and Coordinator: Prof. Wafa Elias, Sami Shamoon College of Engineering
  3. HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01-11: Effects of disruptive changes in transport: towards resilient, safe and energy efficient mobility
  4. HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01-09: Policies and governance shaping the future transport and mobility systems
  5. HORIZON-CL5-2024-D6-01-06: Optimising multimodal network and traffic management, harnessing data from infrastructures, mobility of passengers and freight transport
