GOAL
With the goal to increase the number of submissions to the Horizon 2024 Program in the area of Smart Mobility, ISTRC, together with ISERD, joined effort, and tailor a pilot towards Horizon Calls with deadline on September 5, 2024.
In this pilot we are aiming to provide a holistic support; maximizing ISERD tools & services as well as the ISTRC network and connections, to unite teams of researchers and to submit winning proposals.
As part of this effort, we hosted a roundtable event, with discussion groups led by scientific managers, each focusing on one specific "Horizon 2024 Call".

35 outstanding students (22 PhD and 13 Master students) from 6 academic institutions in Israel with research in the field of Smart Transportation receive ISTRC scholarships this year.
The database is open to all and is used by thousands of users from all over the world providing an opportunity for collaboration in the Smart Transportation domain.
As Smart Transportation is an interdisciplinary field, it is important for us to reach out to researchers from a wide range of faculties, such as Computer Science, Behavioral Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mathematics, Materials Engineering, Architecture and Urban Planning, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Aeronautics and Space Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Science and Technology Education, Economics and Business Administration, Law, Geography, Public Policy, Industrial Design and more.
