ECOMOTION

EcoMotion is a dynamic community with over 600 start-ups (constantly growing) and 12,000 members in the Smart Mobility sector. Understanding startups do not grow in a void, EcoMotion brings together entrepreneurs, local & global automotive industry representatives, investors, academics, government officials and much more; providing a support platform for knowledge-sharing, networking and collaboration.

Our mission is to support the growth of the Israeli Smart Mobility sector and enhance the implementation of innovation in our field, while simultaneously, positioning Israel as a global innovation center for Smart Transportation. EcoMotion has an extensive innovation toolkit to support public and private sector organizations in the implementation of mobility innovation, such as Challenge Competitions, Adaptathons, Networking Events and more!

FUTURE MOBILITY IL

Future Mobility IL (FMI) is a non-profit, public benefit organization established in 2017 aimed at creating and promoting efficient and sustainable mobility alternatives in order to alleviate traffic congestion and provide solutions to Israel’s transportation crisis. The organization’s goals include improving accessibility, productivity and quality of life, as well as reducing the number of traffic accidents and decreasing air pollution. FMI serves as a conduit bringing innovative solutions that will positively impact the unsustainable reality that currently prevails on Israel’s roadways. To do so, the organization focuses on effective solutions that utilize existing infrastructures and can have immediate impact in reducing traffic congestion. Having formed a wide coalition that includes leading mobility industries, large-scale employers, government, and academic institutes, FMI works to effect policy change through localized interventions that will demonstrate the advantages of adopting new transportation solutions.

The Association of Engineers, Architects and Graduates in Technological Sciences in Israel (AEAI) and Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering invite you to join the AUTOMOTIVE COMMUNITY in order to promote professional development and to enable exposure to the Automotive industry and to those involved in it.

Self Driving Cars 101 is a global, open, professional community and a network of meetup groups for all things related to autonomous vehicles - from sensors, deep learning, localization, mapping, path planning, and control, to communications, cyber-security, safety, regulation, social impact, and future business opportunities.

NADAV SHOHAM ROBOTRAFFIC COMPETITION

Robotraffic

The Robotraffic Competition is an initiative of the Leumi Robotics Center in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion. Its aim is to teach safer driving through robotic competition. The main challenge of the competition is to build an autonomous robotic car that can move according to the traffic rules, e.g. traffic lights, signs signals, and keep safe distance.

The 12th Nadav Shoham Robotraffic Competition took place virtually on March 6–10, 2022.
