The Israel Innovation Authority together with the Israeli Smart Transportation Research Center (ISTRC) is conducting a dedicated webinar on Smart Transportation, aiming to promote collaboration between the academy and the industry researchers.
During the webinar, the Israel Innovation Authority will present their funding programs, following ISTRC’s presentation of the Center’s open Call for Research. The two opportunities are complementary to each other.

The aim of this call is to generate white papers, including supporting marketing materials such as videos or presentations. These must present the need for promoting agile research infrastructures that are designed to serve populations across Israel, while boosting state-of-the-art research and innovation in the field of Smart Transportation, in line with the “Zero Transportation Externalities” vision.

Students and young researchers, whose research is within the scope of Smart Transportation and who submitted an article for an international conference are welcome to apply.

To keep up to date with the latest research challenges in the evolving field of Smart Transportation, ISTRC funds a biennial “Knowledge Gap Research” for each of the center’s Professional Committees, in addition to an integrative one.
The leading topics of each report will be included in the center’s annual Call for Research.

The TRISTAN symposium is hosted by the Université Gustave Eiffel and will feature potential applications and methodological developments in transportation analysis and transportation science. TRISTAN XI aims to bring together leading scientists, including academics and practitioners from both the private and public sectors, worldwide to share and discuss the latest advances in theory and technology related to operational research and transportation.

The Robotraffic Competition is an initiative of the Leumi Robotics Center in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion. Its aim is to teach safer driving through robotic competition.
The 12th Nadav Shoham Robotraffic Competition took place virtually on March 06-10, 2022.
