ISTRC promotes joint research through multidisciplinary, inter-sectorial and multi-institutional collaboration. Our annual Call for Research is now OPEN. We invite academic researchers from the various fields of Smart Transportation to join forces and submit research proposals.

15/05/2024 – ISTRC Call for Conference Grants Summer 2024 – OPEN
Students and young researchers, whose research is within the scope of the Smart Transportation domain and have submitted an article to an international conference are invited to apply. This Call will fund participation in conferences that will be held between May 1, 2024 and January 31, 2025.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: May 15, 2024

Students and young researchers, whose research is within the scope of the Smart Transportation domain and have submitted an article to an international conference are invited to apply.

ISTRC Call for Scholarships 2023-24 – WINNERS
We congratulate to the recipients of the ISTRC Call for Scholarships 2023-24!
35 outstanding students (22 PhD and 13 Master students) from 6 academic institutions in Israel with research in the field of Smart Transportation receive ISTRC scholarships this year.
ISTRC Call for Prizes 2023 – WINNERS
Congratulations to the winners for receiving their well-deserved prizes in the ISTRC Call for Prizes 2023!
10 prizes were allocated in the various categories. In total, 77 students from 7 academic institutions in Israel received prizes:
- 3 prizes in the Best Refereed Paper Prizes for PhD Student category
- 1 prize in the Best Refereed Paper Prize for Master Student category
- 1 prize in the Excellent Project / Seminar Prize for Non-Research Master Students category (2 students)
- 3 prizes in the Excellent Project / Seminar Prize for Bachelor Students category
- 2 prizes in the Student Teams Competitions Prize (more than 10 students) category (68 students)
POSTPONED: ISTRC Workshop at the Smart Mobility Summit 2023 – The Future of Mobility with Passenger Drones: Challenges and Opportunities
“The ISTRC Workshop - The Future of Mobility with Passenger Drones: Challenges and Opportunities”, as part of the “The Smart Mobility Summit 2023”, has been postponed.
ISTRC plans to conduct the Workshop in the future. Details about the new date and location will be communicated later.
